Normanton Golf Club
“An attractive and challenging 18 hole golf course.”
Designed in 1992 by Patrick Dawson, the architect of some of the holes on the famous Augusta National course in America, it offers a true test of golfing ability. With a blend of parkland and elevations, the 18 hole, 6300 yards golf course occupies some 145 acres of the Hatfeild Hall Estate.
The course incorporates impressive lakes and benefits from sympathetic preservation of long established trees and wildlife. The large undulating MacKenzie “tiered” greens are built to U. S. G. A. standards and complement the attractive and challenging course.
After your game, enjoy a relaxing meal and drink in the magnificent Hatfeild Hall and if the weather is nice you might want to enjoy it either on our downstairs patio, or upstairs balcony.
Located just south of the North Lincolnshire town of Scunthorpe, Holme Hall Golf club provides the golf enthusiast with not only a challenging round of golf, but also a satisfying day out at any time of the year.
Offering a warm and friendly welcome to visitors from all golf clubs, casual visitors and golf societies are welcomed on Mondays to Fridays. At weekends, visitors are required to play as members’ guests.
The Club accepts County Cards and gives a 50% reduction in the green fee to County Card holders.
Recent years have seen Holme Hall hosting many County and Regional golf events, with the free-draining fairways and the quality of the greens receiving particular praise from visiting golfers.
Superb catering facilities, experienced and friendly clubhouse staff and a fully stocked Professional’s shop all combine to make a golfing visit to Holme Hall a day to remember.
A full programme of extremely popular Open Competitions takes place throughout the year and it is advisable to enter these early as Holme Hall’s reputation as a premier club creates a tremendous demand for tee times and guarantees a full entry.
