UNIT MEMBERSHIP - An innovative scheme for infrequent players

Insch Golf Club has recognised that traditional golf membership is not always economical for people who play only a limited number of times a year. To meet the demand from these players the club has introduced a new category of membership based on “units” which can be redeemed when playing on weekdays or weekends.

The scheme is rather like a pay-as-you-go mobile phone service. A block of units is purchased and when these are used up you simply buy another block.

Unit Members have the same benefits as regular members. A handicap will be registered and play is permitted in Medals and most club competitions. Other benefits include lower annual golf costs and reduced guest green fee. It is believed that Insch is the first club in North-east Scotland to introduce this type of membership scheme.

Further Information: Full details of the Unit Membership scheme and the terms and conditions are available from the Club Administrator on 01464 820363 or from the website.
